I'm torn between applying for the one-year and 8-week acting programs at NYFA. Will the two lead you to a diploma certificate and a reel that you can include for future auditions?? For those who have attended the film school, is it as culturally diverse as advertised on the media? I want to carve my skills in a highly supportive environment where people bond and help each other through all the stressful moments, although I know how intimidating a film industry can be.

The school doesn't have a good reputation. Take the 8 week course.

The term for which you'll be at college is particular on your particular portion of examine & their curriculum surrounding that portion of examine so which you may could desire to touch the two colleges to be sure. My own opinion is that NYFA is greater proper. In vast apple you will discover many greater opportunities to charm to close the creativity they anticipate through variety & mix of custom contained in the city. that is not not elementary to discover what you're searching for there irreguardless of what subject remember/plot difficulty they like you to discover.
