I hadn't expected her to come visit me for the holidays. I was resigned to spending them in SOLITUDE in my NY apartment. She had told me to call her in LA on Christmas Day but not before as she would be busy. I was trying to remain CHEERY, but not having her there for the holidays was a real downer.

As I stared out my window at the couples passing by on the street below, I envied their joy at sharing the holidays together. Then I saw a sole figure approaching. She was dressed in a CASUAL LIGHT GREEN outfit and looked like the prettiest elf one could imagine. She walked briskly up the street, a ball of ENERGY as usual. Her HEALTHY, SUN KISSED body drew stares from the men she passed. but she was oblivious to them, intent it seemed only on her destination.

As she rang the bell to gain access to the building, I was already half way down the four flights of stairs from my apartment. I hit the lobby on the first floor running full tilt, nearly knocking over Mrs. Feinstein as she came in carrying an armload of packages. Excusing myself, I rushed past her and there holding the door for Mrs. Feinstein was my beautiful elf, Glenda. She JUMPED FOR JOY when she saw me, and I rushed into her arms, knowing I had just received the best gift I would get this year.

As I was in the solitude of my casual energy drink the drapes were open and my skin was getting sun kissed by the light. Seems as if the life emerged within me by the healthy sunlight and it making me suddenly jump for joy, Seeing the green light in the sky made me cheery once again.
