Here we are in what week 15? T.O. still sits atop the recievers list. Yes, thats right, he is number 1. The Number 1 reciever in the league.

Any Moss fans got a problem with that?

LoL!

He will finish the season as number 1, as I said in a previous post.

TD receptions is a lame arguement. 3 weeks ago Moss fans were harping about him being on top, And now your baqck peddling to TD stats. Pfft, gimme a break. LoL!

Moss, compete with the rest of the team? Yeah right? Romo has REAL options. And still with LESS total passes going his way T.O. has managed to out play Moss. Moss is almost always Brady's go to. The other recievers on his team barely get any love. Look at Dallas this weekend, Witten one the game. That's real options.
Moss should be #1 with all the looks he gets. Yet still T.O. prevails.

hipo- no, what matters in RECIEVER stats is yars. Or that was the case up until T.O. surpassed, a certain Patriot. LoL!

Rob-You mean 29% for Moss.

And all others-T.O. not only leads in Yards, but also Avg, YPG, &20+, and 1st%. Beating him in more sections of recieving stats, so weather you go by yards or TD's with everything included....he's still beating Moss.

I am a huge Moss fan, but i have to face the facts, TO is better player.

Moss is always Brady's go to but not TO with Romo? That's funny, Welker has caught 93 passes this year, 2nd most in the league. And TO has caught 26% of Romo's passes vs. 24.5% for Moss of Brady's passes.

If you are going to argue, you could at least get your facts straight.

I don't know that anyone can really say which of these guys is better, and you certainly can't, because you don't even have any command of the FACTS.

For going deep and burning the opposing cornerbacks, but no other contributions: Randy Moss.

If you want a versatile guy who is not affraid to go to the middle, can play physical, gain some extra yards after the catch and at the same time be a posession receiver, be an effective blocker (and also contribute to the running game)...Owens is the man.

Moss is great, but Owens is more valuable to an offense.

**************

For those people who think that TDs matter more than the yards, is Najeh Davenport better than Willie Parker because he has more TDs? A wideout must contribute on different types of plays, not only go deep 90% of the time. Playing this position is much more than catching the ball.

well T O has a whooping 6 yards more than Moss , and the Patriots have a tough schedual.not a cupcke schedual like the cowgirls.the net 3 games a lot of records will be broken,Moss will break rices records and Brady will break Mannings Td record.total yards by an offenceetc.

TD receptions is a weak argument??? What gets the points, the TDs or yards. Sure maybe the yards can set up TD's, but Moss only trails TO by 6 yards, and dominates him in what really matters, the TD's. He also has more receptions, showing that he is finding the open zone more often

Did you just say moss is his only go to guy, Wes Welker has more recpetions than moss, meaning Brady goes to Welker more than Moss....

Tell me why yards matters more, there both important, but TO only has 6 more yards, and Moss dominates the TD category

Actually, according to the NFLs receiver ratings, Ownes is # 14. Moss is # 4, and neither one is even the highest receiver on his own team. (Witten & Welker, recspectively) Owens is first in YARDS, but only by 6 yards, which could easilly change.

TDs are more important than receptions and yards. Who cares if a guy gains 8,000 yards but scores no TDs. TDs are what ultimately win a game. Yards =/= points.

I don't really like either player myself, but moss is better. Moss has better hands, speed and leapping then owens will ever have. owens is exellent but it comes down to who you can count on to catch the ball late in the game tailing. Moss is my choice 9 out of 10 times!

Reception yards don't really matter to Moss, it's TD receptions that really make you superior. But it's still good to be the best yard receiving.

He has 6 more yards....And you are crowing about that....LOL

You are a week late, when he had around 100 more.....

So six yards more receiving and 5 less TD's.....

They are both great receivers with great QBs.......

End of story....
