I have a friend that is supposed to receive child support from her ex husband. She has went through the state and they can't find where he works. Is there any other way that she can find out where he is. He is a nurse in Nevada. I want to help her so that she can get her kids what they need...

Go to some dead-beat Dad websites. Probably lot's of info there on how to find those jerks. If he get's a paycheck then he's filled out a W-2 form and can easily be found by the proper agencies. The state Child Support and Welfare dept. will garnishee his wages if he's reported for non-payment.

I wonder if there is some sort of registration for nurses nationwide. I would call all of the hospitals and anything to do with the health care industry in the state of Nevada and tell a lie like I heard "There is this really good nurse and I need him for my sick what ever realtive."
What about tax records. Can or will his relatives help? Do you know his social security number? Call them up and see if they might be able to help or give some tips.
Good luck.

First thing is to always keep in contact and pretend to care about him. This will get you all the info you need. but if she has lost all contact with him the only hope she has is to look him up on the internet. perhaps at&t.com or another phone company that has public #s. next would be to contact his family if possible. other than that if he has not stayed in contact with her or the kids there is not much hope. my 15 yr. olds dad is more than 12,000 behind in child support and it took them 8 years to find him. good luck to her i wish you the best.

If the STATE can't find him he's not using his SSN to work.
