I dont know where youre getting your info, but the cut off age for the Army is 42 and I'm 46. And uh, pardon me for asking, but exactly which service are YOU in? Why don't you just THANK us for our service and enlist yourself? I don't have to justify myself to you or anyone else.

Let's see, I was active duty Navy from September of 1965 to November of 1985. Did 'my time' in country Viet Nam, stationed in 2 other countries, served on 5 ships.
What is YOUR excuse? What is YOUR back ground to question me about MY patriotism?

FYI when the first gulf war started, I stopped by the Navy recruiter and asked if I could go back in. His words after he wrote down my name and phone number; "We'll call you if we need you."

I don't mind a good fight now and again....but not for BS and I'm 52, but if the cause was good...no worry....I'm going to spar in 10 min. But I hate being lied to....I went enlist at 35 and they said No thanks...gulf war 1.

I already served AND I am 100% against the lie-based Iraq invasion AND I wouldn't serve under Bush for all of the enlistment bonus money in the world.
I feel sorry for soldiers who are stuck with Bush as their commander and chief.
