I think I might have agoraphobia, or some kind of anxiety, or social phobia.

When I have to face some social situations (Most of the time I feel as if others are judging me, and I get really afraid of public embarrasment, even if I'm just around friends), my heart beats wildly (I can really feel it!), my head gets hot and I get light-headed, my palms sweat a lot, and I start to tremble, along with a rush of adrenaline. Is this a panic attack?

it could be. the most important thing to remember is that when you feel this way DO NOT RUN AWAY! you will never get over your fear if you run away from every social situation. Next time it happens, stop, take a deep breath and try to think about what is making you uncomfortable. Is it really the fact that you think people might be judging you? (don't answer that right now, wait till you test it in a group of people) You might think that is the answer, but there might be some underlying issue that may come up that you will have to deal with to overcome this. A good tip is that the more times you FORCE yourself into a social situation that you find uncomfortable, to faster you will overcome your fear.

If you are not excersizing and your heart rate is over 130 you are probably having an anxiety attack if only a mild one. More severe you would have the feeling of being suffocated. Don't try to pin it on any one thing. The best thing to do is get out of the situation. You might find that once you have a few minutes to calm down, you can go right back in and feel fine. If you had agoraphobia or other phobia, just the anticipation would set you off. Many people suffer minor panic attacks and have no idea why. It happens. If it affects your life, then you have problems. See a counselor, you might (or might not) find what sets you off and how to deal with it.

This is social phobia and is more common in young women today than you think. Pressure to conform, have nice homes, husbands, kids, maintain our looks...all adds to insecurity and fear of 'not measuring up'. This intense fear is provoking panic attacts. You may also have borderline-personality disorder.
You extremely shy? Withdrawn?
Depression is also a common factor with borderline personality.
Or you may just need help with self-esteem and nothing else.
Take hobbies that you are good at. Sport! The Arts!
Not knowing you personally I can't tell.
See a counsellor, who will train you to think positively, and challenge your fear of social places.
This could be a major setback if left untreated.
Goodluck.
