I was doing some searches concerning paranormal, etc. and found a lot of what appeared to be older pictures of mediums, psychics, etc. producing entities from their noses, etc. supposedly made from "ectoplasm". I assume that these were recognized psychics of the time. One photo showed what appeared to be a full body apparition appearing out of the psychics nose, another a face, etc.
Do any modern day psychics ever duplicate this phenomena, or was this just an old claim, and ectoplasm has now evolved to a different form, etc? Was any of this material ever scientifically analyzed to see what it was?
Are there any newer pictures of present day psychics doing this? Just wondering.

No, ectoplasm has passed out of style. In the old old days of spirit photography, ectoplasm was quite popular with the paranormalists since they developed ways of faking ectoplasm photography that seemed to fool quite a few people. No, none of it was scientifically analyzed, I'm afraid. It was all hokum.
These days, while there are still quite a few strange ideas floating around, ectoplasm no longer seems to be one of them.

The ectoplasm of the meduims has been proved to have been fake and tricks used to decieve. I am sure there are real meduims today and yesterday but I would avoid any who talk about ectoplasm.
Even in spirit photography today ectoplasm looks very much like smoke and fog. I used to believe this was spirits but after 7 years of research and hundreds of photos I think it is smoke or fog.
The ghost photos taken in the early days of photography were faked. Just lik ephotoshop has produced many great photos.

No, you don't hear about ectoplasm anymore. The new trend in ghost photography is "orbs." These are usually dust particles or bugs that digital cameras record as circular objects.
