I honestly think that it's no big deal. He's only two years older than her. I'm 17 & I would't mind dating a 19 year old. Do you think it's wrong? <3

Okay, to answer your questions. They are really mature. His parents are fine with it & love her. Her parents, not so much. & they just go on normal dates. Movies, out to eat, mall, etc.

It's not wrong. People just might find it wrong because they are in school. I really don't see a big deal. I mean there are people who are like 11 years apart and they're dating. Everyone has their own opinion, but I don't see anything wrong with such a match.

if she is 14 she is either an 8th grader or a freshman if he is 16 he is a sophmore or a junior i understand a 17 dating an 19 year old because you are already mature. 14 year olds haven't experienced high school yet and the changes and stuff that comes along with them. A 16 year old has passed that though he may not be mature he is more mature than a 14 year old. He might pressure and or get her to have sex when she is not ready. but it really all depends on him. A boy in my grade (10th) is dating a 14 year old who is in 8th grade and she is having sex and everything which in my opinion is way to early
i don't think it is a great idea from people i have seen

NO! I think 2-3 years is perfect!!!!!
Im 20 and my hubby is 22 about to turn 23!
Dont worry about it!
The only reason they say that is because she is only 14, so she is in between of being a child and young adult. Once she gets to 15 or 16 people wont judge her so much on her boyfriend only being 2 years older! The older you get the less age matters!

Wrong? Probably not. Stupid? Yeah, probably. There is a BIG difference between a 14 year old dating a 16 year old and a 17 and 19 year old. You're practically an adult. Your cousin is still a kid.

I'm talking and went on a date with a twenty year old and I'm sixteen. (oooh give me a thumbs down...hehe I don't care : ) ) I see nothing wrong with an age difference...I just don't think it's right when she's fourteen. I think sixteen is a great age for most people to start dating, they've gained enough experience to make the right decisions, but some, sixteen is still too young. I don't know...I guess it depends on the parents and the maturity level, too. But I think fourteen is too young to date. :/

Dating is taken very lightly nowadays, which is a worrying trend. I think it takes maturity and self-discipline to date someone seriously, and if you don't plan on eventually dating the person seriously, then why date? While the age difference isn't much of an issue age itself should be considered. I think its wrong to forbid someone to see another person they're romantically attracted to, but at that young an age they should take things as slowly and carefully as possible.

there's no longer something incorrect with that. in my opinion, i'm 18 and have a 14 twelve months previous woman who im good acquaintances with. She likes to ensure me and we hug as quickly as we see one yet another, that is like i'm her "massive brother" in a fashion and can particularly say that I do love her in that way i haven't any romantic pastime in her in any respect and don't plan on it. I even have additionally never had intercourse, never drank or smoked. i'm in user-friendly terms a delightful guy. i in my opinion do no longer see something incorrect with being basically acquaintances, if he sounds like a robust known guy then it would be advantageous. do no longer write it down as him wanting to get in a youthful women pants except there are signs and indications that factor that way; i will't stand it whilst people call me a perv or now and back even a pedophile. . .yet that's an entire different subject...

I dont think its that big of deal. Two years is not a big age difference. As long as they really like each other, it shouldn't matter what other people say or think.
Wish u Luck

I was that exact same age when I had my first boyfriend.
I think its fine, girls mature faster then boys anyways, but his hormones are probably raging so them being alone together isnt probably a great idea though.
