Susie and others that want to see the tree that withstood the Oklahoma City bombing that called over 160 people in our Murrah Federal Building go to kjrh.com and click on search bar and type in "survivor tree" and it will tell you about it!! I can't go to that site without crying, I heard the bomb that day and had friends that died in it!!! Thanks to all for being concerned!!!

NO, I didn't know but some of the people on this site are very narrowed minded. As I replied the first time. It's amazing how nature can survive during war. During the Little Big Horn Battle, the only survivor of Custer's team was a horse named Comanche. I can only imagine what Comanche must have thought as he watched the humans that are suppose to have more intelligence than horses.

I for one, didn't see your question about the OKC,OK. bombing & the Survivor Tree. I'm sorry it got deleted & don't know why anyone had it deleted. I hope the tree will be saved. I will never ever forget that horrible day when the bombing occurred.
P.S. I could care less about the point system here. I'm just here to read, ask, & answer questions. We're not all "point happy."

Oh I am so sad to hear about this. Will you do us a favor and keep us updated ndnquah? Gosh I so remember when I used to live in Dallas the terrible ice storms. Of course we just don't worry about that here, south. Know what I was thinking about today? I was wondering if your daughter still has her electricity off? Now, how about you? Are the horses ok? Are they inside? I pray the tree is saved and feel with all of the volunteers, it will be. Thinking of you my friend, Eve ( did you get my email?)

No, I didn't know about your question at all. I have been without internet for almost two weeks. I am sorry about the question being deleted.
A Survivor Tree sounds like a good idea.

I missed this all, I haven't been on a lot, and now it is nightime in Brisbane, just came on for a quick look.
Why would that get deleted? And I hope the tree IS saved.
Here is a star. Keep warm there too.

I am so glad they are doing every thing they can to save that tree. I had not heard that except in your email to me and then I forgot to say anything to you about it. So sorry about that.
I also don't understand why a question like that would be deleted. That is pure petty to deleted some thing like that.
Thank you so much for sharing all this information with us.

OMG! I am so very sorry! I am just getting home for a meeting. I heard about the ice storms blanketing the Midwest and OKC was one of the hardest hit. Have you lost power at all? Do you have enough heating fuel
