The Wings are always the team to beat during the regular season, come playoffs and it's a different story...They have a nasty history of choking

I think that the key for the Red Wings is to get one or two fast defensemen before the trade deadline. Their one weakness is slow defense, and a couple teams (Chicago, for example) have taken advantage of that. If they can strengthen this area, they would have to be a favorite this year. If they don't, I would be concerned.
