It's my favorite poem so I was just wondering. Why or why not?

Yeah it's one of my favorites, too. It has a great message and metaphor. It's very inspiring.

YES.

First of all it suggests exploration; even modest risk, regarding the unknown; but not stressed over.

Certainly it sums up most of my 64 years; and with few regrets I'll still take paths I choose; when possible; as opposed to following others.

"Doubt" is so much more debilitating than "Surprise"

Yes and no. I like it because it is Frost at his lyrical best. I don't like it because people often misinterpret it and Frost was intentionally vague on it.

I am so tired of that poem. It's in about every anthology and taught by almost every English teacher/professor. If I have to read that poem one more time, I'm going to scream!

i t appeals to me as I have chosen the road not taken - and that has made all the difference.

I do because it accurately explains life in just a few stanzas
