my professor said not to put it under the results section but he did not specify where to put it under. Im so confused?!!?!?!? HELP

When you say assumptions do you mean assumptions of a test statistic? If so, put them under the methods section.

In the introduction, where you describe previous research and then the main statement (null hypothesis) of your research and how it differs from previous work - what it will add to our knowledge. Advisors can be obtuse, but they want us to come up with it on our own to make it a learning experience. Read other research papers. Its in there.
