Nothing both groups are pseudo-socialists that are trying to destroy and subjugate America from with in by using our own laws against us. The ACLU was actually founded by an avid communist back in the 1930's.

Conservatives use the term Liberals for people who think a small amount of crumbs should be given to the very poor.
ACLU is now an organization that believes in laws that are fair for everyone, will cut down on crimes.
SO, liberals believe to get caught is a crime, ACLU believe
the punishment for liberals and conservatives should be the same for each group including the poor.

Mainly, members support the lawyers who work for the group; using the courts to defend the rights of Americans.
"Liberal" is a political ideology, not a group of any kind.

The ACLU is a communistic organization trying to overthrow our government. They will back anything harmful to sociecty under the guise of personal freedom. They are defending NAMBLA. You know, that's the group trying to get laws passed saying it should be legal for old men to have a sexual relationship with underage boys. After all, it's just another life style right?

Liberals believe government can be a force for good. They believe in civil liberties (personal freedom) and corporate regulations.
The ACLU is an organization concentrating specifically on protection of civil liberties (is American Civil Liberties Union.)

"Liberal" is a more general category of people. The ACLU is a specific liberal group that falls under the general category.

The American Civil Liberties Union takes on any case. They even took Rush Limbaugh's case. They take on cases to protect civil liberties. They have absolutely nothing to do with the democratic party. They stand for the Constitutional rights of any group or person, however, many of their cases involve Socialists, Nazis, filth, and your right to say anything you want because you are protected by the right to free speech. These are the groups who most people want to be quiet and out of sight, if not non-existent. Still, according to the Constitution, they have rights. Without them, we would have censorship.

Liberals want social programs to help the poor. ACLU wants social programs to help criminals. American Criminal Lovers Union.
