initially, i might take Petrino's attitude over stupid Alge Crumpler's any day. no person would have saved the mess that Mike Vick created for the Falcons this twelve months. It make take yet another twelve months or 2 to suited the deliver. provide Petrino 2 greater years and notice what he has finished then. i think of he desires to do away with a number of those gamers and initiate sparkling. every physique who's already bitching approximately their coach merely some video games into his first season desires to pass.

Surprised and disappointed. He didn't even give it a try. He was a former offensive coordinator in Jacksonville, so he should have been aware of the trouble he would have had in the NFL. Instead of dealing with it, he decided to run back to the college level and deal with kids. I have to say that between him, Spurrier, and Saban, no NFL franchises will want to look at college head coaches anymore.

This just proves that "college coaches" should stay just that. Being a coordinator and then making the move is fine but jumping straight into a NFL head coaching position from college hardly ever works out. He had NFL coaching experience (coordinator) but he was a good four years removed from that. I gave Petrino the benefit of the doubt but maybe being a fan blinded me. Oh well, can't get much worse than this can it?!

No, Petreno is just a coward who can't take losing. It's no surprise that it comes the day after Vick gets 23 months. Just another collage coach who couldn't cut it in the NFL.

Not really, as he had
a 3-10 record with the
Atlanta Falcons.

And also, he went to
Arkansas, a good college
team with many talent.

Turning back to college to
his glorious days as when
he was victorious with
Louisville College.

Anyways, I wish him the
best for his career.

Nope he was wishy washy before he left Louisville and went to ATL so i knew before the season he'd bag out and go back to where he belongs in the NCAA
