I do, but only the ones that I pull from circulation. I do not specialize in serial numbers and not prepared to pay lots of money for them. So far I have collected a radar and several pretty nice digit combos. They're out there for us to find.

I like radar notes, star notes, and low serial numbers. Radars will read the same forward as backward, such as 12344321, or any combination that is the same forward and backward. Stars are the first of the series, and will have a star before the numbers. I have no "mismatched" serial numbers, but a friend of mine collects them...When the numbering die gets out of register, it will print two different numbers on the bill. This is a mint error, and rarely get into circulation, but it has happened. For some reason, I always look at the serial numbers....

I have several sets with the serial numbers in order as well as old bills, bills with red ink, etc. If it looks different, I save it.

Sounds like fun, and an easy way to surprise yourself with the amount of money you've saved, :D, what sort of unusual serial numbers do you have?

I don't but there are a lot of currency collectors out there that do. In fact if you check Yahoo groups you may find a group that does just that. They are commonly called "fancy serial numbers". Good luck on your quest.
