A disability is an impairment to a person who was born with or acquired a physical, sensory, emotional, or cognitive difference that impacts one or more essential life skills. The stigma of disability and/or the inaccessibility of the physical environment often causes a disability to become a handicap.

The term - disability - as it is applied to humans refers to any condition that impedes the completion of daily tasks using traditional methods. National governments and global humanitarian agencies have narrowed this definition for their own purposes, only pledging aid to those with specific disabilities of a certain severity.

Some one who is at a disadvantage physically or mentally leaving them unable to do some things or having to do them in different ways.
My disability is paralysis and I'd say it's a disadvantage for sure and I have to do most things in a different way so it fits for me.
