Not really. There are countless other possibilities. Both could die. Neither could die, but they could compromise on the sex thing and just do oral or some other form of safe sex. Perhaps the man will actually be mature and will just deal with it if she is not interested. Maybe they wouldn't even be stranded long enough to find out. A boat or plane could come by at any time. Odds are they would be too busy trying to survive and get off the island to even worry about this.
