How do I solve the graphing equation y=x+1 and y=2x^2?

I need to be able to determine the graphs direction, identify the vertex point and any axis interceptions. Please help. Serious answers only

That's not one equation, it's two.

What's more, you're looking to graph the equation, not solve a "graphing equation"

Please check whether you made any more errors than that, then re-ask, preferably as two separate questions.
