Copy cats. If the media would STOP giving these idiots the press it just may stop.
That idiot at the mall they should never mention his name only the victims. As with these other fools.

I didn't need to hear that, would have anyhow, sooner or later!!!!! I have Gr kids, and daughter, out there.Doesn't matter, where you, live, any more. Like a disease, all over. What really gets, to me, is when some thing happens, and you get some holier than thou, who says " How can this happen, in our neighborhood". That get's my "Goat", more than anything. What makes them think their so much better, than any one else? That It's a ghetto thing, or what? I really don't want to get into this, but someone has to pick up the sword, and start the ball, rolling, so to speak. I guess I'm the Lucky 1.; Good Lord, help me. There'll be no turning back. Some of you out there will hear what I'm trying to say, just ask England, They'll tell you, don't let them(gov) take your guns away. Where do you think all this is coming from? Some nut cake made it up, as he went along? The CIA is under investigation, DO you realize what it takes for a force of that magnitude, to have the power they have? When push comes to shove, and they are close to being busted, they cause another problem, takes the attention, away from their front door. Think I'm full of it? How old are you? We never had gang violence, we had Viet Nam . Another unspoken political skrew up. Oh Hit a nerve, did I? Finally , got the audience i been looking for

Happens everywhere, they caught two different guys on video one pulling an 89 year old vet out of his car to carjack it and beating the guy half senseless. The other was another guy who pulled a 90 year old vet out of his car and beat him up badly also. They have both these guys on video, but no one knows anything and they will probably be back on the street doing the same thing a week after they are arrested anyway. This country is going to the dogs and the greedy b*stard politicians who don't care anything for the constituents they are supposed to represent, from the President on down to the lowliest Congressperson. In my opinion only, so don't everyone get in a huff. Just an opinion.

The world is already "there"... it is up to everyone to be the voice of change but none more than our young people who need to listen to each other. Many of these shootings are carried out by kids or teens who have suffered being bullied or belittled, either way, they are not happy with their lives. If we only judged in our teens as we do when the wisdom of the years much later on is ours.
I wrote a long time ago:
People and faces from all creeds and races,
What would we say were we blind,
We'd not see the difference in all of our faces,
Just what goes on in our minds

When I was Director of an Elder Care Center in Baltimore some of my elderly ladies called me into a recreation area where they were watching a big screen tv...on the tv was a high speed chase between the police and a 70 year old lady who had just robbed a bank at gun point...One of the women pointed to the tv screen and in between whoops of laughter pronounced....And you know a man has to be behind that....
This is a true story

I'm so glad you asked this question....the same ran through my head last night when I watching the news. They keep saying there is no copy cat issues here, but it seems these type shootings keep coming in groups - 2 or 3 at a time and I am beside myself wondering WHY...why are young people and some others not so young, so hell bent on shooting and killing others...sometimes at random. Their anger and resentment and seemingly lack of respect for human life or their own astounds me and makes me so sad for the survivors and for youth today who live in a world of violence.

Disgusting and heart breaking. Seems everyday we have senseless violence being commited by people so young they haven't even begun to live yet. They are taking lives abd their own at an amazing rate. So many youth don't expect to live to much over 20-25. For evil to prevail the good people just need to remain in denial and out of the voting booth.

I just read about it. North Las Vegas is a bad area these days. Lot's of gangs and illegals. I lived there in 1963 and it was a very nice area. One crazy shooting seems to lead to another.

All the wrong messages are being sent to our youth. Parents don't want to parent! They want to be their children's 'PALS'.. Kids don't want 'PALS' they want parents! We have to provide structure, and direction to our children. We are living in a culture that is not healthy to promote responsible future adults.. Instant gratification , music that degrades and defames correct behavior, should be unacceptable. Yet it is tolerated and promoted! Rebellion is healthy and normal, differences between right and wrong is obvious to ANY young adult if it is shown to them.. It should be taught to all our young people by the parents or the seniors around them, that BAD BEHAVIOR reaps bad consequences.. Responsibility, is the only road to success.. If we parent our children today, we can at least say, we have done our best to prepare our children for life and what they will face tomorrow!!
