First off my Uncle Tim who currently is in Japan got me this purse. I don't care for designer purses, but I want to know if it is real. The leather, I know is real, but the only thing wrong with it is in the inside it say on the leather label:

THIS IS A COACHBAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN CHINA FROM THE FINEST MATERIALS TRIMMED WITH GENUINE LEATHER. ITS SUPERIOR CRAFTMENSHIP AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL REFLECT OUR COMMITMENT OT ENDURJNG QUALITY.

And it was spelled just like that, so I don't know. But I know My Uncle likes expensive stuff, but in Japan it would be a lot cheaper. Thanks for the help

If there are misspellings on the creed it is definitely fake. That would never be found on a real one. That is a very common mistake on the knockoffs.I know someone who had a fake one and superior was spelled "suferior".
Is your bag all leather or does it have leather trim? That's another common flaw on fake creeds. The fake ones will often say trimmed with leather when the bag is made completely out of leather-and vice versa.
Your uncle may like expensive things, but he may not be purse savvy,so he probably believed the person selling it to him was honest.Hope this helps!

Coach handbags would not be cheaper in Japan. When you buy luxury items in foreign countries, if they are real, then what you pay comes out to be roughly the same as what you would pay here in the US (I have traveled worldwide and have seen this, and bought luxury items too). Secondly, I have a few coach purses and can tell you that although it is true that they are made in China, a real one would never have a typo on the label. None of mine do. Many fakes these days are so good you can hardly tell, but sorry, it sounds like a fake. But who cares, nobody will be able to tell anyways. My friend has a fake coach that I thought was real.

idk- why don't you ask your uncle? but here is what it says on the inside of a coach bag:

COACH
THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN CHINA FROM THE FINEST MATERIALS TRIMMED WITH GENUINE LEATHER. ITS SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL REFLECT OUR COMMITMENT TO ENDURING QUALITY.

is that the same? well on mine it doesn't say "craftmEnship" or "endurJng" so idk...

I think the spelling answers your question right there. But that was nice that he cared enough to send you a counterfeit anyway.
