no. if you have never played before you will be at a disadvantage and need to practice batting, throwing, and run. if you are trying out for a high school team where there will be cuts don't discouraged if you don't make it the first year. if you try hard enough and really mean that you want to play the sport then you should make the team the following year.

Honestly, no it is not too late for you to start. I started last year and I'm 16 now. But i grew up with it and playing sports so i took to it. If you haven't played any sports or anything, then you will have a tougher time with things. Go to the batting cages, and look up some drills to practice with or if you have any friends that know how to play, let them teach you.
To make a long story short, Work hard.

Definately not too late, but it will be tougher if you don't have some athletic ability to start with or experience with other sports. But if it's something you think you'll have fun doing, who cares, go for it.

never too late man.. if there is a training facility near by or batting cages go their or research the position you want to play.

Find somewhere you will play often.
