i want a pair of snowboarding pants. what should i look for? what kind should i get? wheres a good place to buy them for cheap?

I would look for double layer fabric at the seat and knees and for very sturdy thick fabric. I don't know if you are going to find them for cheap, but I like Burton pants - mine never get wet, have double at the seat that allows me to sit on snow, and leg vent zips for when it is warm. They have been great for years and were worth every penny.
