You said you wanted towns that have the same name as a COUNTRY's name ... which means that "Paris, Texas" doesn't count since Paris is a foreign city, not country.
If that's what you meant, then there are actually plenty of towns that are named after countries - I've found more towns for the countries that others have listed and some others. Surprisingly (or not) some American towns are named after "enemy" countries like Cuba, Syria, or Sudan. (No Iraq, Iran, or Afghanistan though. ;) )

human beings do not return and forth ! i've got traveled to the States two times and carried out the Aussie pilgrimige to the united kingdom, besides as France which i could not wait to flow away, my dogs has extra advantageous manners ! areas of Gemany and South East Asia on the way homestead. You meet hundreds of English, Irish, Danish, Australian and New Zealanders and extremely few human beings, yet you do "hear" them hahaha ! i admire the organic elegance of their united states of america, yet they are very insular - fairly so ! and not often return and forth not to show settle exterior their very own united states of america. each and all the "cities" suggested arose from mass immigration, i think of the Irish fairly based long island.
