at around 4 o'clock today all of a sudden the pop up blocker stopped working, and everything has been going downhill from there. I have a Microsoft System overide on my computer, spyware called, interactive brand, hitbox, searching oot and reliable stat plus a bunch more crap on my computer. How do I get it off? I swept it with spy sweeper, but some of it won't go away

Linux is the future. It's free, stops pop-ups, stops auto-installers placed on some websites and protects your pc from there.

Go to www.download.com and download AVG Anti-Virus, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware and I would also get Hijack this!
If you disconnect your internet connection after downloading those apps and then install them on your system, run a virus scan and spyware/adware scan you will be able to remove most of the crap that way. Then go to your Add-Remove programs and remove anything that you don't want or don't recognize in there and if you're not sure just be safe and leave it there for now.
Then I would go ahead and run Hijack this. Hijack will let you get rid of any hijackers that take your internet browser and send you out to another site on their desire. Such as opening Internet Explorer and immediately getting pop-ups or going to the wrong URL when you open your browser.
Then after all of that, I would check your programs that run on start up. If you go to Start, Run and put in regedit. Then navigate under both HKEY_Local Machine and HKEY_Current User and go to Software, Microsoft, Windows, Current Version, and look in all Run folders for anything that doesn't belong and remove it. If you are unsure of what you're doing or not familiar then be very careful as you can mess some things up here.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

Manually remove the spyware (manually delete the dll files). Most of the time these are stubborn processes installed in the Windows/System32 folder or installed on your internet explorer Add Ons.
You may need to download tool that can remove files on boot. Such as killbox, avenger, vundofix

Download Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, HiJackThis, and Avira Antivir.
Restart the computer in Safe Mode (start tapping F8 as soon as the computer starts to boot up, then choose Safe Mode with Networking).
Install the software. I'm assuming you don't have other AV software, but if you do, it's probably a good idea to uninstall that and install Avira Antivir, because obviously the last one wasn't up to the task of keeping you clean.
After installing, make sure to update the software to get the latest definitions (this is why we chose Safe Mode with Networking).
Attempt to run the software from Safe Mode. You may have to restart the computer to complete installations. If you do, just go back into Safe Mode. Run what software you can (not all software can be run in Safe Mode; I'm not sure if Ad-Aware can), then restart into normal mode and run the software again.
N.B. By default, HiJackThis will give you "false positives" because it wants you to see everything that's there and have you decide what should be there and what shouldn't be. make sure to find out what needs to be taken off. You can check online forum for help, e.g. http://www.techsupportforum.com/security-center/hijackthis-log-help/

Try windows defender. It's Microsoft's own spyware searcher and that might pick up anything the other programs have missed. However, you don't need more than one anti-spyware program. Delete all the ones that you don't actually need and your computer might run a bit more reliably.

use mcafee and you can get it from download.com although this is a 30 day trial it will help you alot. Switch your windows pop up blocker on and if it is on try set the settings to high. Also macfee has siteadvisor which tells which sites to go and not to go as they have downloaded files from those websites
