I love playing CoD, i'm quite good at single player (did it on hardest difficulty) but i always get my a$$ handed to me online multiplayer. Any tips on how to get better>?

I was so bad when I started but the more online I played the better I got, then I got kinda bored and i went back to single player. Big mistake! I tried to beat it all on veteran and almost did (2-3 I cant do still) but then I went back to multiplayer and got pwned. I think its cuz in single plaer your always being shot at from the front, so you hide pop out lock on and shoot, but online there is a whole different strategy. In online you gotta keep moving, always look around, and you dont just have on direction your worried about. So I suggest playing Domination or Headquarters...I find those easiest to kill people in, and just play play and play. I'm up to lvl 50, but my K/D ratio is horrible, 1.12 ...with lke 3000 kills. So your gonna die about 1000 times before you start to be consistently good..

Just like everything in life, you need to keep practicing. Learn from other players. Complement them and talk about how great they are, flatter them, and then ask them for tips. Knowing their egos, they'll be more than happy to give you tips.
Or play against people who are no good.

use the sniper class and find a good spot to hide and blend in.then shoot until they spotted u
