Well, I don't know what you have eaten that you regret, but a laxative isn't going to help you avoid digesting and absorbing whatever it contained. If it's been more than an hour or so since you ate it, it's already too late. Pushing it through the rest of the system is just going to upset your normal bacterial flora, and give you more problems- especially when the rebound constipation occurs. As far as natural laxatives go, prune juice, prunes, raisins and flax seed are your best bets. Just don't go overboard with it, or you will regret it. If this is just a matter of you ate something high fat or high calorie, then all you really need to do is eat lower fat/calorie for the next couple days to even it all out in the balance.

I agree.. prune juice or lots of alchohol, but the latter might not be very safe.
Lingzhi is a great one if you have time for the order to come in from china :-)
Do they still have ipikak?? It wasn't a laxative, but it cleared out your system because it *erm...* made it all come out the front end. Good luck!

Mineral oil. That's all you need. A couple of tablespoons ought to do the trick. Want it to work fast? Follow it with a prune juice chaser.

warm prune juice with a shot of milk of magnesia. It tastes terrible, but should have you going within half an hour.
If you want to use something in your cabinet, squirt a couple of drops of visine (don't use a lot, you can get really sick) into your drink and chug.

If what you ate is digestible, the business part has already become a part of you. The laxative will remove only the refuse.
Try Psyllium Seeds or husk.
