Burn the hand and then the pocket unless it was a day or too old but then it wouldn't be a falling star but just a comet.
I love the dream though and if you could wish upon a star what would you wish ?

well a falling star is actually a meteorite so i guess if one were big enough and it didnt completely distort coming to earth and u were in the right place at the right time logically it would be possible,but a very very very slim chance

a falling star is a meteor burning up in the atmosphere. it usually burns up before it gets anywhere near the ground. even if it makes it it would kill you if you tried to catch it
