Yes. The most popular is offered by DirecTV and it is called DirecWay. The speeds are not very good, though, compared to traditional cable and DSL providers. Last I checked (granted it was a while back), download speeds were only around 400kbps for the basic residential service. This type of application is ideal for persons who live in remote areas and Internet over Satellite is their only option. Another piece of information: if you use a VPN then this service either may not work, or will be very slow - comparable to dialup. There are hardware and setup/installation fees that can reach up to $300, more or less, depending on the install. If you have no other choice (can't get DSL or cable where you live), then this is a good alternative. Otherwise, don't bother.

well i haven't look into it for some time; but sat isp is 1 of the most pricey ways to get Internet. first u usually have 2 buy ur equipment, and pay for the install which; by the way is different from a sat TV install. then there's the service cost; which runs $20 above DSL, or cable. directv was the only sat isp provider; but they sold that part to Hughes sat systems. i found a website; i left the link for u, i hope this helps.

Yes you can. The dishes are larger than the ones that Direct TV uses.
If you look at the first link you will find a plan for $250 installation and $60/Mo.
