If you score, don't rip your jersey off like Brandi Chastain. Good luck, though, seriously.

If you are concerned with the dress code I am sure u are allowed to wear leggings under the team uniforms shorts as long as theyre the same color. Every major league teams shirt comes in longsleeve and I am certain that there would be no problem with a tight fighting head covering. Second, if you feel some would have a problem with you playing for an "infidelic" and "imperialistic" country than you should take a stand and join the team for that reason exactly, to show that not all muslims hate america and in fact, many muslims are american-_muslim american is not an oxymoron...

When I was growing up I played against women's national players who were 1-3 years older. When we were young, 11-12 the girls would usually win, granted they were up to 15 at that time. At 13, we'd usually draw, but once we hit the beginning of adulthood things changed dramatically. At 14 we'd win by 2 or 3 goals, but by the time we were 16-18 we'd win by 5-9 goals. Several of the players went on to play for collegiate national champs and one to the world cup team that won. However, the phrase "speed kills", is just as true in soccer as anywhere else. My team had players that would go on to become national players as well, but it wasn't even close. Even if they were smarter players, we would win almost every challenge, every loose ball and they could never win breakaways. So, it's not sexists, it's just reality. A great analogy that someone stated earlier is tennis. Look at the Williams sisters. They lost to a 200+ ranked player 6-1 and 6-2. Sorry, but this would be no contest. I would guess that a strong high school team would likely beat the women's national team, a D-1 college team for sure.

Hmm... well I can't speak for everyone but I'm sure some would be think poorly of you - but who cares what they think? There are many Muslims that play for other countries that are not "Muslim countries", and also Muslims that play for teams in the NFL and NBA. So...if you are referring to the fact that you will be wearing shorts that's a different angle. In my opinion I would at least see about putting leggings under them and wearing a loose uniform.... I dunno... but I were in your shoes that is what I would do.

I think that depends on how religious and what sect they are. As I'm sure you know, there are many different muslim sects that have different interpretations of the Koran, just like there are many different Christian demoninations with different interpretations of the Bible. I think that unfortunately there are several muslims who would disagree with your choice and be angry with it. However, I think you should follow what you believe. If you feel it is acceptable for you to play on the team, by all means do it. I think there are just as many muslims who will support you as disagree with you. Just be sure you live your life by your beliefs, not by others.

This is America!!! You have the right to do what ever the hell you want as long as its not illegal or a crime. Who cares what Muslims will say about it in America, they have no right to condemn you. As for playing over seas, you are protected by the greatest and most powerful country in the world
