The same thing happens EVERY night. I am sat here tapping away, looking at the clock and dreading the moment when the alarm goes off at 6am and I think "why the f*** didn't I go to bed earlier last night?" Same thing happens every night.

It's nothing to be ashamed of ..... you are simply pursuing something you enjoy and using the early hours as 'social time' ..... it's a result of the fast pace of life we all enjoy .... you want more leisure time and elect to take it when you should really be sleeping. Yes, we've all done it ..... and yes, we all pay the next day in some shape or form ( normally falling asleep mid afternoon! ). Good idea is to put your alarm off at 1am .... then you can go to bed with much less guilt but still enjoying your time out!

I have a slightly similar position as you ~ although not the deadline and so, not the reaction or consequences.

I for one, 'Love the solitude of the night' with the self created atmosphere, the general silence and the feelings of freedom that I find in it.

It's a simple way and a simple sense ~ of a way of being, but bloody complicated trying to explain it all.
