The difference between cheating in the NFL and being an honest team, is not being stupid enough to get caught cheating in the first place. I'm sure that other teams have systems in place that enable them to cheat, but Bellicheck was too dumb, too brazen, and just too cocky not to get what was comming to him. Maybe it is cheating that Mangini came from that system and knew how it worked to scout opponents.

Oh Yea Its Af: The camera was confiscated 8 minutes into the 1st quarter of the 1st game, and was never used, except to disrupt the Jets season. Nobody wants their coach to be the laughing stock of all of football!
So you found one...the referees did nothing, nor did the league.
Now, let's review, the well-known trick by the Giants, opening the door at the North end zone whenever an opponent attempted a FG or PAT.
Let's talk about the prestigious, holier than thou Miami Dolphins, while playing in the Orange Bowl...where the magical season occurred. All members of the team owned "home shoes".
The shoes were only available to the Dolphin players, and allowed them the ability to run, and at times even stand.
All opponents were forced to wear football cleats, and attempt to skate across the slime-covered field.
Joe Robbie Stadium turned out to be the great equalizer.
Then we have the Colts piped in noise.
None of these started this year.
The patriots were supposedly stealing signals, which is apparently perfectly legal, unless it's done with a camera.
So what do other teams do with the portion of their game films, that accidentally pick up any signal? All of which is out in the open.
Now, if this didn't just happen this year, Mangini turned himself in, as he was the defensive coordinator for the Pats. How else would he have known?
Please tell me which of these offenses bothers you most.

Snowbowler guy! That so owned!
As for the stupid video gate... I wish people would do some stinking research before they mouth off.
1. It is legal to take pictures! (you just need to be in the press box at the 50yd line)
2. All you people are doing is ticking off the Patriots in their persuit of perfection! (ask safety Anthony Smith of Pittsburgh how that turns out!)
3. People just don't like the Pats because they've been so good for a long time!
When the Dolphins take Dorsey with the first pick how good is Darren McFadden going to look lining up behind Brady!? LOL sorry Patriots haters you staring down the barrel of 16-0 and they get the best player available in the draft!

Well, I didn't expect that example to come out but it is relevant. I just think people should take a step back and really consider their last 3 Super Bowl wins (and last year's production as well). To think that the ONLY time the Pats cheated was during that week 2 game versus the Jets is terribly naive. But the fact that Goodell handed down a lame-a$S punishment of 750 grand and one draft pick, albeit a first-rounder, shows that Goodell doesn't care that they cheated and wanted this team to succeed no matter what the circumstances. They should have been shamed and punished beyond repair.

i heard about that, but didn't see it. it wouldn't surprise me. it was a home game though, and usually the groundskeepers make the conditions right for the home team, but that is wrong. what goes around, comes around. the pats will get everthing comig to them, and then some. regardless of what happens, people will always remember "spygate." and this will just be added to the other list. i like how pats fans always bring up the 31 other teams, but that's it. never have anything, it's just like a kid arguing, like..."oh, yeah, oh yeah, well, your team sucks!!" that's all they ever do. like listening to a bunch of whining, sniveling, snot-nosed kids. i think moss was the perfect addition to that team. no wonder he is so loved by the fans there.....

The NFL front place of work needs the gamers to be the story of the large Bowl, no longer the officiating. officers are made very conscious of this earlier and, gamers can get away with a sprint extra as a consequence... Bellichik knew this. He additionally knew that his defenders could no longer comprise the Ram receivers in his first large Bowl; so, he instructed his db's to snatch them, carry them, knock them down all night understanding they could probable get away with it. As all of us understand, they have been given away with it and stole a large Bowl from a good group.

"Have you forgotten the convicted felon with the snow blower?"
That was legal, there was no rule against it at the time. Try Again.
