Yes
cut and run? Iraq is a sovereign country with a democratically elected government. Our presence keeps them from doing what they need to do, whether it's compromise or an even more massive civil war. Unlike the other GOP candidates and even some democrats he actually has a proper exit strategy for Iraq, one that will stabilize the country and have our troops home as soon/safe as possible.
The only people that are "delusional" are the ones who fail to understand that we can spend years, lives and billions of dollars in Iraq, but we CANNOT resolve religious civil war
EDIT: Attacks have been world wide? Everyone (at least informed people) know by the now that Al Queda (sp?) didn't exist in Iraq prior to our invasion..
what is the link between 9/11 and Iraq? As I recall Bin Laden's bases were in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia
EDIT: You said attacks have been world wide, so who did Iraq attack?
If Al Queda (sp?) didn't exist in (keyword IN) Iraq before our invasion and according to our generals what entered Iraq has been DISMANTLED.. then why do we need to stay?
You want to talk about UN resolutions? Iraq violated 14, while according to CNN Israel has violated 38, should we start a war with them too?

It takes no spine at all to cut / run / surrender.
Wanting to pull our Troops out immediately without realizing the consequences of such an action with NO proper exit strategy has nothing to do with knowing anything about the war. Actually it would be quite the opposite.
Civil war? Can't be just a civil war when the attacks have been worldwide.
Everyone (at least informed people) know by now that Al Queda (Iraq or not) existed before 9-11. It's not some new phenomenon that just developed.
The only people that are "delusional" are the ones who fail to understand that Saddam broke multiple UN resolutions.

The public is like the newspapers, very fickle. The press enjoys taking any controversial position, because it sells newspapers or TV time. Read Roman history, how the mob ruled Rome in many instances. Everyone thinks that they know what is best for our republic. The people who run this country, what ever the party, are so much more knowledgeable on what the needs are in these foreign situations.

This is tough one for me. I love Ron Paul, but he is wrong on abortion. He does not believe that murder is a federal issue and states should be able to legalize the murder of the unborn. This is ridiculous.
I am not voting for Mike Hukabee because Ron Paul won't stand on real principle one this issue.

He's also the only guy who is being marginalized as much as possible by the MSM.
Far as it looks, the others are doing what it takes to win.
That's my pessimistic view.
