How do I know if an American boxer turtle is the right pet for me. I already have five dogs, 3 goats, 2 rabbits, and a fish. I know that I'll be able to keep it away from my dogs, but how do I know if it's right for me??

Whats the point, I'm sure with the 5 dogs alone they could use more attention then they get, so pass on the turtle and spend more time with what you have !

Box turtles are great but please be sure that your dogs don't get ahold of it they are natural predators. Also be sure that it can have a safe outdoor enclosure as well as a roomy indoor enclosure.

nice pet but a lot of money about $100 and you got to feed it a lot
