this is a dumb question but have there or are there any instances of people who became pregnant without having sex. like by sitting on the toilet, or holding hands with someone, other ways you can get sperm inside youself without having sex....

No, you cannot get pregnant from a toilet seat, holding hands or any of that.
Having sex is the usual way, but remember there is artificial insemination too for those that are having fertility problems.
I once heard someone got pregnant at a pool, but I don't believe that for one minute.

Okay. There was only one instance where someone got pregnant without sex. Mary, from the Bible. God decided that Mary and Joseph would be great parents for the SAVIOR that was coming to save a sinful world.
However, the only way humans can get pregnant is when there is sexual penetration. I really can't believe this question was asked.

Dear Alyssa, No there is no chance of getting pregnant by sitting on a toilet, holding hands or anything of that nature. It is possible to get pregnant anytime sperm is close to your vigina after sexual innercourse, small small chance.
The best way to get pregnant is direct shot of seman inside you.

yes, anytime live sperm make it to your vaginal opening.
However it is all but impossible to get pregnant from a toilet seat or something of that sort, sperm are delicate and can only survive in optimal environments, which do not include a public restroom, lol.
If you're fooling around though and get semen in/near your vagina there is a risk, ever so slightly, but still a risk.

yes, but not by sitting on a toilet or holding hands, only if you were in a sitiuation like this:
lets say you were in a pool and someone had an erection and let a sperm out, this is highly unlikely but it could slip under your bathing suit and go up.

Besides going to a doc to get sperm put in you, not really. You pretty much need the sex to get pregnant. If a guy does squirt sperm on your vagina lips, it can go inside and get you pregnant.
It happened to a friend of mine. He and his girl were masturbating each other. That's all they did sexually. One time when she was stroking him, he squirted right between her legs. Later she got pregnant. He go so mad that he got her pregnant and his penis never touched her vagina.

You can get pregnant from artificial insemination or donated eggs that are surgically implanted .
You can't get pregant from sitting on a toilet seat or holdong hands

Sperm are active little creatures and if you and your guy happen to in any way leave sperm in your panties or clothes or pubic area, the little rascals can swim in and impregnate you.

There is virtually no way to get live sperm inside your vagina with some type of penetration after he ***s: penis, shared toys, finger, oral.
