Integrity is being who you say you are and doing what you say you'll do.
Normally, the "decent" thing to do is to give advance notice when you plan to leave a job. (The amount of time depends on the job. Some employers ask for two weeks' notice; others prefer one month.)
Unfortunately some employers don't demonstrate any integrity when they decide it's time for you to go!

integrity is the highest picture of Truth. An good actor who plays his part well is told his character was played with"integrity" which means that the character he played was believable and seemed like a real person instead of a part. Truth. Honesty. Quality. All these are entwined in "integrity."

A person with more integrity would give a two week notice especially if they were permanent. If you are temping then one week notice is sufficient.

Integrity is the value something has by virtue of its honesty, truthfulness, or accuracy.

To use it in a sentence:

"Hackers changed data in the database, thus ruining data integrity".

"Jack ruined the integrity of his life by living it for a god that turned out to be a fairytale".

Usually. And that's integrity.
Unfortunately, many employers just ask one to leave at once.
That's not integrity.
