Only liberals feel that they deserve something for nothing, and that income classes should be done away with, ( except for rich liberals). Anytime you take something from someone without their consent, it is theft, regardless of what else you call it...

To answer your question;
I don't care about how much money others make, I feel that everyone is worth every penny that they earn. As for those who wish to take from others, I can only offer the explanation of them being jealous of others. It is much easier to sit back and whine about how bad your life is, than to strive and achieve to better it. Plus having a political party that feeds into the notion that those that succeed have gotten there by cheating others doesn't help.

No one cares if you make more money but you live in a federal system... thus you should pay more tax, Now... If you don't like the way your taxes are divvied up I don't blame you , after all only 3% actually comes back to you in the way of services (fed) and unless you are receiving a direct benefit from the state you live in you are seeing almost none of that tax.
Highway tolls pay for roads, School Tax, etc... so we don't see a big bang for our buck... now the top 2% they're the ones that need to step up.. and some of the very richest agree.. Bill gates and the late Warren Buffet just to name a couple... but for the most part the every rich in this country are always looking for a way out of paying their share and for them,.... hangings too good,Shootings too good.. what we ought to do is make them live in a trailer or a project 1 day for every dollar less that they paid... this of course would never happen but there should be some sort of recourse for those of us that unfairly shoulder the tax burden and that's us... the middle class.

I'm a pretty hardcore Libertarian, but let me attempt to explain the thought process in order to answer your question. I DO NOT believe this myself, but a lot of people do.
Success is something due entirely to luck. Hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and ability do not play any role in what actually happens to you, and whether you succeed or fail is entirely beyond your control. Hence we use terms such as "less fortunate" to describe people who drop out of school, have a handful of children, and work menial jobs for minimum wage. They're not less successful, they're simply less fortunate! Since nobody would CHOOSE to be poor then it's not their fault, right? Their decisions didn't lead them to where they are, a hard, cold, cruel fate did! As such it is perfectly acceptable for the lucky to have to share with the unlucky. Since nothing is anybody's fault where you wind up in life is just a toss of the dice. And if your numbers come up good you should share with those whose numbers came up bad. It's not like you earned any of it.

I don't. I realize it's not a zero-sum game. They are creating wealth, just as I am.

I do not. If you earn a million, it belongs to you. You should keep it.
