Dress up his locker. Talk to his teachers, find out if they have any ideas. Or can help with a classroom space after school, for an impromptu party.

Could you do something at a friends house? Like have a cook out in winter or something like that. What about all of you getting together at a restaurant and buy him dinner and then giving him some kind of a gift, like a picture of all his friends in a cheap frame, so that he'll remember you all when he's gone ?

Go to a recording studio and sing one track each - you get three attempts and the final cut is digitally remastered to make it sound pretty good. It is personal, will last a lifetime and will be fun to do.

Well, well, well....for someone that sounds so desperate (Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!), you sure are one demanding female. If you have put in that much thought to know what you DON'T want others to suggest, then you should try putting in a little more effort to figure out what your friend DOES want. Sheesh....
BTW, a little kindness goes a long way when asking others to help you with something YOU can't do YOURSELF....
