Why bother? Who is that helping? No, give him a trial, convict him, and execute him. Or wait until he dies in prison so he won't be considered a martyr. Regardless, bury him in an unmarked grave in a crappy spot of land. There's no point in torturing him. Just get the trial and execution over with.
