TORONTO (Reuters) - A teenager who was said to have clashed with her father about whether she should wear a traditional Muslim head scarf died of injuries late on Monday, and her father told police he had killed her.

CAIR claims that part of their "mission" is to "protect civil liberties". Hmm...why do you suppose they wouldn't they be among the very FIRST to condem the brutal murder of a Muslim child? Isn't life itself the most important "civil liberty"?

Simply put.... C.A.I.R. is a leftist organization that will only make noise when they are "persecuted" by anyone but their own.

In Islam, the father can do what he wants with his children. In many countries the daughters can't travel anywhere without a written permission from her father. The dad thought he was doing Allah's will. The Muslim community isn't going to say anything because many of them think the daughter should have wore the scarf and obeyed her father.

As I responded to another related question, It's disgusting!
When I wore too revealing a bikini, my dad just grounded me and took it away.
There is no excuse for snuffing out the life of a beautiful young girl for not wearing a headscarf. Maybe she had a teddy bear she named Mohamed as well. We've learned that's another justifiable reason to kill someone in their eyes, haven't we?
If this "father" (I use the term loosely) wanted to keep his daughter from experiencing (and experimenting in) western culture, why didn't he confine her to home schooling, a Madrasa or even stay in their native land if they were from abroad? You cannot send an impressionable teen into a public school and expect her not to want to fit in with her peers.
How exactly can "moderate" Muslims condone this and/or look away? It is certainly a legitimate question. It goes to prove that Muslim women are regarded as property, not people. If they're not pleased with the property, they destroy it.

No, of course not. 1. The guy did not cause any physical harm to the girl, therefore by law he is not a threat, and you cannot prove self-defense against a non-threatening situation. 2. Even if he was harming the girl, in some states you must try to make an escape before acting in self-defense. 3. The law exists to take proper justice against criminals for you, no one has the right to set up their own jurisdiction and their own laws.

I know a few Muslims that own businesses I frequent. Those that I have spoken with would approve of this as a method of preserving their way of life.
It would be like an American Cowboy wanting his son to have a good horse.
Only with the Muslim community it is Holy tradition not just Western tradition,

Because despite all their protests that they are really peaceful and all the support from liberals, they are really all just animal lunatics. yes, at any given time, most Muslims are "peaceful". That is decieving because given the right provocation, each and every one of them will become violent.
They will kill their sisters, wives, daughters and others over religon. Just because they don't do it daily, doesn't make them less violent.
England and france are finding out the hard way what the religon of peace is all about. if we keep it up, so will we.
Given a choice between their religon and anything else, almost every muslim will chose violence every time.
