associating a specific song with a specific one of your contacts?? I do that with some of my contacts....

So what's my song? You tell me mine, I'll tell you yours. My whole life has a soundtrack that only I can hear (well it would just be freaky if others could hear my thoughts, duh) so it just makes sense to me to associate songs with people.

I (not so randomly) associate a song to almost everyone in my life. Like you, I call you 'Drift Away' by Dobie Gray because I love the song and you seem to drift in and out of my 'answers'. lol!
It's a memory trick for me because I'm a 'lyric-savant'. Too bad History, Physics, and Trig. weren't sang to me, I might know more!

I associate Crow T Robot with watching Mystery Science Theater with my Dad when I was little. Manuj...(sp?) I think of that little old Indian man Kumar in Wes Anderson movies, and I imagine he dresses like Pagoda in Royal Tenenbaum's with pink pants. Matt MATT, I think of the video game DUNE. When I read your questions, they are in the voice of the Dude. Its pretty F-ed up. The internet is F-ed up.

I haven't done it with songs, but that's a cool idea. I associate images with them, usually something that relates to a statement they have made, or from bits of personality that seep through.
Wow, mine sounds a LOT creepier than yours. I think I'll give that song thing a go...
