I got Mouse, my ball python, several months ago. He was fine before but just today I picked him up to play with him and i found a drop of water on my arm. Then I actually saw water come from somewhere on his head. I think it is from his eyes. I let him be for a while in his cage but later on I found water in it and when I took him out he was still doing it. This is not non stop. He just occasionally cries. Is this bad? Is there anything I should do?

It is more likely the drops are coming from his nose or mouth and could signal a respiratory infection. Signs of a respiratory infection are: open mouthed breathing, wheezing or popping when the snake breaths, and/or clear fluid coming out of the snakes nostrils or mouth. A vet visit with an experienced reptile vet may be needed.

I don't think it's coming from his eye. Snakes eyes are nothing like ours. They have to tears and don't blink. Their eyes are covered by a clear scale so they can't cry through them. Contact a vet as something weird is going on.
Ball (or royal this side of the pond) pythons are one of the snake species that can easily be handled. In fact, they actually enjoy it. that's why they make great pets. Don't listen to people telling you not to handle him, they're wrong. Handle him as much as you want unless he's stressed, in preshed or digesting.
BTW, *love* the name Mouse!

Call a vet, that's extremely strange behavior, and my father has never heard or seen of it in 31 years of breeding and raising snakes.
I also do not suggest playing with it alot, snakes are animals that are mostly to look at, not to be played with everyday. If you want something to play with, I suggest a Crested Gecko.

Are you sure your snake wasn't just wet?

Snakes don't cry.

If your snake is dripping stuff from its eye it should see the vet
