I've said from the start that these two children should have been brought back to GB - check my early answers! What life did they have stuck in a bloody creche everyday - until they got chucked out because of the media. The McC's had the cheek to moan about the media circus - this was after THEY feted them, to get them on-side in order to keep the search for Madeleine high-profile. Those wee kids will never have a normal life again, regardless of whether their parents are charged or not. It's a crying shame!

I wouldn't know. My son is totally cool. My husband has a huge HUGE family so every year we have multiple Thanksgivings and Christmases to attend. Luckily they draw names and set a monetary limit but it still adds up to a lot. I have 7 people left to buy for...I'm just over halfway done...

i dunno man, i rather enjoy it. you can get drunk at the inlaws while the watch your kids. it's a perfect arrangement. plus the inlaws feed you and give you crap you don't really need, they wear your kid out so they'll be passed out in the car on the way home and sleep all night. then you can have more adult beverages and naked time. plus, kids are frickin hilarious, well at least mine is.

Yep. I'm so bloody busy from now until New Year's Day, I wouldn't have time for them anyway.
I'm not exactly "in-law free" - but mine live far enough away.

Yes. And, no. Our holiday party will consist of three middle-aged women and a cat.
Oh, yeah, that's a party.
