Mine are divorced. Almost everyone gets a divorce. Whatever happened to sticking it out and trying. It seems like the answer is always to give up. Although I know that my parents are definitely not compatible. So it's good their not together. But still almost everyone's parents are divorced.
OH and if you have been married, are you divorced?

My parents are divorced and although I was devastated at the time, I now see that it's so much better this way. I dread to think what would have happened were they still together now, I'm pretty sure there would have been violence and maybe prison or other nasty things. They've both moved on now and I'm glad.

Generally, when I'm asked if my parents are married I say yes. I consider my step-mother to be my Mom. However, my dad divorced my biological mother when I was 7. It wasn't a messy divorce, they tried to make it as quick as possible for us. Although, the bm wasn't around much and pretty much tops the crazy charts, so it didn't make a difference to me. If my parents think I'm unappreciative, they have never told me so.

This question cracks me up because my parents are divorced (2 years ago after 18 years of marriage) and now they are still together. It's like they got divorced but never broke up.

Here's a great one for ya! My mom and dad divorced when I was 13. I'm 51 now. Here's the kicker-Both my parents are currently on their third marriages. They have always remained friends. My current step-mom introduced my mom, to her brother. Now my mom is married to my step-mom's brother. They live in the same town, and are all the time going places together! They all get along well, it's just one weird story for my brother and I to explain! (without cracking up over it)!
As for my myself I started dating my husband in ninth grade, and we married right after graduation. We are still happily together and we'll be celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary next June!

My parents are still married. I'm 21 years old and married too. When I was younger my dad was a semi-truck driver and just would always come home drunk, he was a very bad alcoholic. My mom almost left him once. I remember going to some crisis shelter one night and after that, my dad has never drank since. They get along really well.

My parents are married since 40 years...God knows how they have managed.
I have had a divorce in the past, married now since 9 years with two lovely children !

My parents have been married for 36 years and still going. I just got married 3 months ago. I am 28 and this is my first marriage.
