they haven't won a playoff game and will more likely than not have to get passed the Colts in the AFC Championship and the Chargers 1st. Colts always give the Patriots a run for their money and I don't care about losing Dwight Freeney that defense has gotten better and that D plays with heart.

This is what the NFL always does. Ya the Pats have dominated the compitition but hey look back in the years and how often do the team that acctually dominate win the superbowl?? Last year the colts started strong but fell apart. Every one said that the Chargers would run away with it. Did they?? No they lost in their first game in the playoffs. And the year before that the colts beat the Steelers what 27-7 in the regular season?? But look who beat who in the playoffs and went on to win the superbowl?? Every single team will be gunning for the Pats. All of wich have played them already and are gonna know what they are about. Colts, Steelers, Chargers. All of them. The Pats might win but they have one heck of a road ahead of them.

Well, people make their statement based on what they saw: an undefeated team that can score point almost at will and they beat the Colts and the Cowboys.

It's just an assumption; I agree, I think a healthy Colts team has the offense and defense to beat New England. Also, even tho the Chargers are playing sub-par football, its enough to bring momentum into the playoffs, and once u get into the postseason, everybody is back to start. Forget 13-0, it's zero-zero, win now or go home.

The important questions are: Will New England have any freak injuries b4 the playoffs? Will Marvin Harrison be rusty in the playoffs (three-headed monster of Wayne-Harrison-Gonzalez isn't bad now)? Can Indy run the ball well enough to keep Brady off the field?

It's a great way for the media and the NFL to create a hype and pull in more viewers. Maybe some people would be more inclined to watch NFL games if the team they were watching was potentially making history.

I think you are absolutely right, when the Superbowl rolls around and the Pats are in it--then we can talk. There are still some big, tough games that they will have to deal with before they get there.

"If you wanna crown their a**es, then crown 'em! but they were who we thought they were!" -Dennis Green

I think this is simply an overreaction by some pro-Pats fans in response to the outpouring of hate from the anti-Pats crowd. And of course there are some others. I think a lot of both sides is media driven too, as this is selling, and the media and league are selling it.

I also think that the Pats are just going about their business, taking it one game at a time, and doing the absolute best they can. You don't hear any guarantees from them.

So this is mostly a creation of the media and zealots on both sides, but if they go 19-0, they will be the only team ever to do it, and that will suggest they are at least ONE of the best, of not THE best.

However we already played the charges doesn't mean that it's an automatic win.

But remember just as the Patriots are coming up against the charges Indy will most likely come up against the Steelers and they Steelers are a very physcial team. These two teams will pound the heck out of each other the week before one of them meet NE. Sore brusied and injured players will be the team coming up against NE. On what most likely will be NE's backyard.

Because we have been brainwashed by the media. Every sports channel, every sports talk show, everyone just loves the Patriots. Have they forgotten about the Cowboys or the Colts? Don't give me, "Well, the Pats beat them already." Let either the Colts or the Cowboys play them again, and see what happens. I can't wait for the Super Bowl when the Cowboys take it from them.

Who crowned them? I'm a Pats fan. We make predictions that, at the end of the season, they will be undefeated. We predict another championship. If this holds true, we are the best team ever. They are certainly the best team this year, so far. They are untouchable. The worst is over.

I don't think that you need to worry about the Patriots NOT, betting past (not passed) the Colts.... the Colts will not be winning the next time they play the Patriots, even if they do make it to Foxboro, the Colts will have to get past the Steelers or Jaguars first...
