The news item doesn't say they've done it before...but it's good for 12/24 through 1/5 I think.

I don't know about MARY and JOSEPH, but years ago a couple lived next door to me in an apartment building whose names were Kenneth and Barbara (he was a U.S. Navy FA-14 pilot and she was a 2nd grade school teacher), who were just as nice as could be. He was very macho looking, square jaw, the whole works...like he was sculptured to look like a tough pilot. She was a slender, very pretty blonde. It wasn't until years later that their names hit me. Even though I called him KENNETH (he was an officer and I was enlisted, but he told me we didn't have to hold to the "officer/enlisted crap"...his words...as neighbors) and her, BARBARA...they were....KEN AND BARBI!

I'm a skeptic -- Have you ever slept in a manger ? I'll tell you, it ain't all that comfortable and it's quite possible, that you'll freeze you butt off. Some of those Inns don't keep their stables very clean either, so watch your step and where you throw your sleeping bag. You'd be wise to bring your own coffee pot and pop tarts too, continental breakfasts are few and far between (don't count on room service). Last but not least , is fellow house-guests, mice & bats are liveable, but what if they're boarding someones prize bull for the night.?

To each their own -- remember "if it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't"

don't be responsive to the place you're placed, yet there curiously are parish information from Leicester that contain the marriage of Joseph Dawkins to Mary Hayfield - the reference is "Marriages at Congerston 1756-1812" Volumes 2 and 3. that still is referenced in "Pallot's Index to Marriages" so it kind of feels that there in certainty ARE parish information for those persons in Congerston. could could desire to get down and grimy, the previous vogue way, and pass to the easily information and have relaxing contained in the hunt technique.

I remember years ago there was a seaside hotel in the UK that would offer a free "Naughty Weekend" to married couples actually named Smith. They had to prove they were married and named Smith. In honor of all the unmarried, pseudo-Smiths that stayed at seaside hotels. Great idea!

Haven't they done this before? I think I heard something about this last year or the year before. It's always a good idea though.
