Why would my printer not work when using a DSL filter...?

I have DSL and I use a DSL filter/splitter to split the DSL and the Phone. When I have the filter plugged in my printer will not print. If I unplug my filter and directly connect the DSL phone line to the wall jack my printer works fine. How can I fix this problem???

nothing to do DSL filter with printers, unless u have USB modem and USB printer..... but then u uninstall printer driver, connect DSL, then connect USB printerr another USB port and install driver again ;)
