No, I caught fish before when I was a child, My grandmother used to take all the grand kids on fishing trips in the summer. we would go to the creek and dig up bait in the mud and then use these bamboo fishing poles like Huckleberry Finn. It was so fun!
By the by it didn't go over my head I just thought I'd give you a chuckle.

Yes but not the "STD" version. I lived in Maryland when I was growing up and Maryland is known for the seafood crab. Me and my friends would go crabbing to catch crabs and then bring them home and steam them in beer and vinegar and season them with Old Bay seasoning. Nothing like Cheasapeake Bay Blue Channel Crabs. But the crabs that I think you are asking about are (body lice) which resemble the crustation type.
