For some time i've had this discharge which shows all the signs of a yeast infection, however it keeps getting worse.
One day it smells alot and is very liquidy and then another it's thick and yellowy with less odour.

I'm too worried/ embarrassed to go to the doctors, but will it get worse if I don't??

I've had it for agesssss as in about a year or so.

Help me...Please!

Thanks.

Sweetheart, please don't be embarassed to go see the doctor. They see this kind of thing all the time and they are very professional about it. Trust me, I avoided seeing doctors for years and always used home-remedies, just because I am scared of doctors. But you know what, for something as bad as a yeast infection, please go see your doctor, this is the only (I repeat, ONLY) way you can get help to treat this problem. In fact, seeing a doctor is the ONLY way you'll know if what you have is really a vaginal yeast infection. Your doctor will give you antibiotics and/or painkillers depending on your situation, you will not regret it - you wil be thankful for it. It is worthwhile to overcome a little embarassment and seek medical help. Take it from me, up until a week ago, I was afraid of seeing doctors for the very same reason you're afraid, but I found a female doctor in my area and visited her regarding a serious yeast infection. And you know what, THANK GOD I did that, otherwise it would've ended up much worse. So I suggest that you find a female doctor and that should make you a little more at ease. Explain every detail to her and show her everything (yes, you should let her see the "area") you are concerned about. Do not hide anything or be overly shy because this is the only way she will be able to properly diagnose you and prescribe the right things for you. Good luck, sweetie!

Yes, a yeast infection can get worse if left untreated. I know that you are embarrassed to go to the doctor about this but this needs to be evaluated by your doctor. You can go to your primary care physician about this to have them evaluate the situation further.
