I feel your pain. Here is my advice, which was given to me in a similar situation, by a woman. You're too much of a nice guy. Most women don't recognize the type of guy they should be with until their mid to late 20s, sometimes later. She, being 18, got scared. She was focused on school and work, and you were not what she thought she wanted in a guy so it was safe to get to know you a little bit. Then she probably started having feelings for you, which was one of the last things she was expecting. Most of the time, when a connection is genuine and and you are a "nice guy", then she pulls the not looking for a relationship card, it means I don't deserve him or he's not a challenge. Anyway, basically I'm telling you that she probably did feel something for you. If you really like this girl, wait a few weeks and come up with something you can tell her made you think of her, not stalkerish though, and call her. Try and start up a conversation. If she sounds disinterested, you're probably screwed. If she seems like she's listening, but isn't talking much herself, she may just be feeling a little shy because she did kind of blow you off a couple times and feels bad about it. Or, best case scenario, you pick up where you left off that day in the office

Aw poor you. You'll be fine, back online tomorrow night, although, I do know that my friend had an awful time having her tooth pulled a couple of months back. The tooth snapped and the dentist couldn't get the root out, had to slice open her gum, drill the jawbone and everything, then she had stitches in her mouth for a fortnight BUT she still managed to drink & have her smokes.
She was fine, and you will be too. Good luck.

You'll be fine, last year I had to go into hospital to have 4 teeth removed and a piece of the jaw bone, I had 12 stitches in my mouth, it was sore but the painkillers were good and I slept. It's not nice for anyone having a tooth pulled, take care and good luck.
