Arnold Schwarzenegger is NOT AustrALIAN. He is AustrIAN. AustrALIA is an island continent comprising one nation, and is located in the South Pacific, in The Southern Hemisphere...the bottom of the world. AustrIA is a small country in Europe on the European continent in the NORTHERN hemisphere, on the top side of the world. It is near several other nations. Austrian accents are more Germanic, while Australian accents are more British/Welsh.

Because he has an AUSTRIAN accent. Austrian is a country located next to Germany which speaks a dialect of GERMAN. He is not from the large island of AUSTRALIA which speaks Brittish style ENGLISH. You know, this is the second question I've answered where the querant does not even know where Arnold is from. I like him in that terminator movie were he appears NAKED. That's way cool! His wife won't let him do those types of movies any more. he's so whipped!
